The Program

HealthBeyond is a one-day eHealth event looking at how consumers can improve their health and general wellbeing through the better use of information and communication technologies (ICT). The entertaining and information-rich day features plenary speakers, concurrent content presentation streams and interactive demonstrations.

The day will start with presentations from the leaders in consumer health technologies, there will then be ongoing demonstrations throughout the day, with presentations in the specific areas of:

  • - Home monitoring and care
  • - Health games and interactive media
  • - Personal health record
  • - Online information and community

HealthBeyond will educate clinicians, care-givers and other healthcare providers and gain commitment to influence their patients around the ways to improve health through the use of ICT. It will also excite and engage with the health consumers who are looking to use these new supportive healthcare technologies.

Have a look at the provisional program below for more details on the program topics and jump to our Speakers page for some detailed background on our speakers.
